Clara Ford Tribute Garden

A Celebration of Loved Ones

Join Fair Lane: The Home of Clara and Henry Ford as we celebrate the special people in our lives.

The Clara Ford Tribute Garden was established to honor Clara Ford and others who have made a difference in our lives. Funding through the Tribute Garden program will help support annual garden maintenance throughout Fair Lane’s landscape.

With your $150 tax-deductible donation, your special person will be recognized on a banner among the vibrant blossoms in this garden throughout 2024. Your gift could be in honor or memory of a mother, father, grandparents, sibling, or anyone you choose. At your request, we will send a card to your honoree, in time for Mother’s Day, if appropriate, or to another person of your choosing, informing them of your thoughtful rememberance.

Planting for the Tribute Garden usually begins after Memorial Day. We invite you to visit often and enjoy the gardens at Fair Lane.

All donations must be received by Friday, April 30, 2024, to be included on the 2024 Tribute Garden sign. Please contact us at info@henryfordestate.org with any questions.

About the Garden

On Jens Jensen's 1915 landscape plan, the Tribute Garden was labeled the "Picking Garden."

A mix of perennials and annuals are grown in this garden now, including new varieties and rarely-seen heirloom plants.
