Visiting the Grounds

Explore Fair Lane’s gardens and grounds free of charge from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week.

The main house and powerhouse are closed for restoration.

Get priority notification when the home is open for tours by becoming a member and supporting the restoration.

Personal photography is welcome. All other photography requires a permit. Fees apply.

PARKING

Free, accessible parking is available across Fair Lane Drive from the grounds. See our directional map HERE.

RESTROOMS

At this time, we do not have restrooms available. We apologize for the inconvenience.

SERVICE ANIMALS

Only certified service animals are permitted on the grounds. No other pets are permitted so that we may preserve our gardens for visitors. Please do not leave pets in your vehicle during your visit, as temperatures inside a locked car will quickly become unsafe and even deadly.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Picnic tables are available near the Garage and Powerhouse. No cooking or grilling of any kind is permitted.

  • The use of drones over the estate, even equipped with smart devices, remains completely prohibited, regardless of whether the controller is on or off estate property.

  • Smoking and alcohol are prohibited. 

  • Bike along Fair Lane Drive but not on our garden pathways reserved for foot traffic. A bike rack is available in the parking lot for your convenience.

  • We cannot accommodate Homecoming and Prom groups for photos at this time.
